Data

Organisations
UNESCO-UIS will convene an inter-agency group of experts to develop common methodologies for, initially, completion and participation indicators derived from household surveys. UNESCO-UIS will compile data from household surveys conducted by other organizations.

Instruments
Household survey including DHS, MICS, national surveys which collect data on the highest grade/year of education completed. Currently available for c100 low and middle income countries. Further development work is needed to agree on a common indicator methodology and to extend the coverage especially to more developed countries. This is expected to take a further 1-3 years.
