A Course of Action is an approach or plan for configuring some capabilities and resources controlled by a stakeholder (government, sector of industry, enterprise, person) undertaken to achieve a goal.
A Course of Action represents what a social actor has decided, or will decide to do.
Courses of action can be categorized as strategies (long-term) and tactics (short-term).
The common use of customer journey maps and in order to support Collaborative Planning (and Investment) at multiple levels in a social architecture we introduce terms Journey map, macro journey, meso journey, micro journey and pico journey.
