The US Congressional hashtags are a kind of #election_lgu hashtags. They are systematically defined for the members of the US Congress.
- For Senators, the abbreviation of each of the fifty states is combined with 0sr or 0jr postfixes to refer to the Senior or Junior Senator (seat) of the state, for instance #KY0sr for the Kentucky Senior Senator and #KY0jr for the Kentucky Junior Senator, respectively Mitch McConnell and Rand Paul at the moment this page was written.
- For Representatives the abbreviation of the state is combined with the number of the Congressional District, for instance #CA25 for the Representative of the California's 25th Congressional District (a seat which is vacant at the moment this page was written). California has 53 congressional districts. Alaska, for instance, has only one, which is called "At large" and has congressional hashtag #AK01.
